Actually, customers who shop online may face a situation when the order received did not meet their expectations. Sometimes, the blame falls on the vendor as the customer may receive the wrong size or color of the good he has purchased. 

The most common reasons for Amazon returns an order are:

Defects

Such cases are rare on Amazon but happen when customer receives damaged or defective items.

Incorrect items

You can return a product, for example, if you ordered a black pencil but received a pink one.

Customer’s fault

When the customer himself has chosen the wrong option when filling out an order.

According to Amazon returns policies, in most cases, customers have only 30 days to return an item. 

However, the process will be a bit different when a customer orders an item from a third party seller.

The process of returning goods to Amazon is quite simple. But some details should be explained. As we’ve already learned, Amazon gives customers the opportunity to return an item within thirty days of receiving it (in most cases!)

You will have two options depending on whether it is a conventional return or label-free/box-free return

Please note that items from different orders should be returned in different packages for Amazon to properly calculate your compensation and refunds.

However, make sure to know that there are items that simply can’t be returned

Now let’s talk about the refund policy. Amazon managers have two weeks to receive and process your return. And you will receive your refund either immediately or from 1 to 10 days depending on the method (once your refund is processed).

Particular attention should be paid to partial compensation. Amazon can refund you even if you did not meet the deadline or even opened the product. However, you should not expect a 100% refund in this case.

If your item is returned because it is ‘defective’, check the product to understand whether it really has some defects or not.
